The Desktop / System Administrator will install, maintain and monitor multiple workstations, and applications. Responsibilities include supporting operating systems ranging from Windows 2000, XP, Vista, to Windows 7. Role includes support of end users local/remote, resolve software problems, perform system backups and recovery, maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity. The individual must have strong communication skills and excellent organization and planning skills to perform multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment which offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies.
The responsibilities are:
1. Install, maintain, and monitor workstations and applications.
2. Manage backup and recovery of servers.
3. Maintain documentation of existing and future systems.
4. Tune operating system, network, hardware and other system components for optimal performance.
5. Administer network users, email accounts, and other applications requiring login.
6. Evaluate and install patches, as appropriate.
7. Perform general troubleshooting of the operating system, hardware and applications.
8. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
9. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
10. Provide first level support of operating systems and third party software.
Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Workstation operating systems.
* Knowledge and experience with basic Network Troubleshooting.
* Ability to work with direction in a team-oriented environment.

We are looking for an experienced inside sales representative to acquire new business for our Santa Ana office.
Tekcetera offers excellent compensation: Base + Generous Commission plan.
Inside sale representative – Candidates will need a minimum of five years' experience in prospecting technology solutions and demonstrate expertise in selling high technology business solutions to end users in order to help solve real time business solutions. This position will start as a foundation position, once trained and productive, you will build your own sales team and lead Tekcetera's sales strategy.
Pro-Active Sales
(1) To acquire new business by identifying new markets by using the appropriate medium.
(2) Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and cold calling on new accounts; generating appointments; presenting, negotiating and closing sales. Activity targets - make a minimum of 75 calls per day - make 5 new appointments per week.
(3) Update all information into customer database (One primary job role). Pass on any relevant leads to other offices and advise Marketing of any competitor activity, which may be relevant.
(4) Ensuring excellent coverage and penetration of the market
(5) Identify sales opportunities for the President and make appointments as appropriate.
(6) Knocking on doors when available to uncover what companies are within specific buildings.
(7) Ensure awareness of competitor activity and offers - so in a position to be proactive.
(8) To continually develop knowledge of Clients products / services and Customer offers to maximize sales opportunities.
Incoming Calls
(1) To answer all calls within the Agreed Service Level and handle in a professional manner, providing best possible levels of customer service.
(2) Convert incoming inquiries to orders and/or appointments; following up new leads and inputting customer details onto appropriate systems.
General Sales Administration
(1) Process written quotations / proposals to customers
(2) Maintain awareness of effectiveness of all advertising/promotions
(3) Maintain an accurate customer database at all times
(4) Analyze sales information and provide reports as required
This opportunity is salary plus commission, with full benefits available after 90 days.
